What to Expect

Traditional Worship

You'll be greeted with a smile and given a worship bulletin.  You'll walk into a beautiful sanctuary as our organist plays the prelude preparing our hearts for worship.  Young acolytes will light the candles on the ministry platform.
Our song leader will lead you in hymns from our hymnals and contemporary songs from inserts.  Our associate Pastor will lead you in the Pledge of Allegiance and an invocation, followed by silent prayer and the Lord's Prayer.  You'll hear short scripture readings from the Old Testament, New Testament and the Gospels for your reflection.
Your Pastor will pray for you and the congregation.  You'll sing the Gloria Patri, be invited to give an offering to God and sing the Doxology.  The choir will sing a lovely anthem.  Holy Communion is offered to you on the first Sunday of every month.
Your Pastor will bring you a relevant exposition of Scripture to strengthen and encourage you in your walk with Christ.  You will be given an opportunity to respond to the message, sing a closing hymn and receive the benediction blessing.

Be Comfortable

Our worship style is a bit of a paradox.  We are informally formal!  In other words, while our ministers, staff and choir wear robes, our people come to worship in whatever makes them feel comfortable.  Some people wear suits, some wear jeans!  Our focus is on your heart, not your clothing.  If you've come to seek God, to know Him better and love Him more, you'll fit right in!
